The Canadian International Development Agency offers internships through their International Youth Internship Program to recent graduates who hold a post-secondary degree or diploma. Internships are 6 to 12 months long and include a minimum of 5 months working in a developing country. Internship positions can be posted at any time during the year, so check this website frequently for the first chance to apply.
Youth Challenge International is a non-profit youth development and educational institution with the mission to build the skills, experience and confidence of young people to effect positive change in their communities. YCI involves Canadian youth in hands-on projects in developing countries to address local development issues. Projects last for five to ten weeks.
