A Micah Certificate in Global Studies can be obtained in conjunction with any 3- or 4-year degree at The King’s University by focusing electives in related courses. The Micah Certificate offers excellent education and experience towards preparing students for work in the area of justice and international development as well as other careers related to Christian ministry or justice issues.
A student wishing to receive this certificate as well as a degree much satisfy the certificate requirements and complete at least 9 additional credits beyond those of the degree requirements. The program consists of a total of 18 credits:

THEO 371 Theology of Christian Mission
3 credits of SSCI 302 or 303
(Internship in International Development) or another King’s Internship course approved by the Director of The Micah Centre.
3 credits of Independent Studies
3 credits from Theo 374 – Micah’s Challenge
*A student transferring from another institution must complete at least 9 credits at The Kings University to be eligible for this certificate.
